Acutely ailing patients who have undergone invasive cardiac procedures or are afflicted with potentially life-threatening diseases of the heart or blood vessels are attended to by registered nurses in our 12-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at 4SCCT.

You are accountable and responsible for the application of the nursing process and the provision of patient care for the specialty patient population as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the CICU. Furthermore, you will also

  • Promptly, administer and document precisely the direct and indirect patient care services necessary to ensure patients’ safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection.

  • Conduct phlebotomy, skin examinations, immunizations, and initiate peripheral venous access.
