PSKC, Puget Sound Kidney Centers, is expanding! Assist in the opening of our most recent clinic in Shoreline. Situated in the vicinity of Richmond Beach, this exquisite, recently constructed outpatient clinic showcases an expansive layout replete with lush vegetation and ample natural illumination. 22 treatment stations, a cutting-edge RO system, and brand-new B Braun dialysis machines will be included, in addition to an integrated Home Therapies unit.

At PSKC, we are in search of registered nurses (RNs) to supplement our medical staff in supervising dialysis administration and patient care. The registered nurse (RN) assumes various responsibilities, including patient education, supervision of dialysis technicians, modification of treatment plans by standing orders, monitoring patient outcomes, medication administration, engagement in quality improvement initiatives, and collaboration with social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists who comprise the patient’s care team.

Education and Experience:

  • A nursing degree from an accredited institution.
  • A valid, current Registered Nurse license or Compact RN license issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing is required.
  • Present American Heart Association certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Experience with hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis is preferred.
  • Preferred is prior experience in acute or ambulatory nursing.

Location/Hours: Dialysis-registered nurse (RN) introductory courses will be conducted in Mountlake Terrace or Everett until the clinic’s establishment in Richmond Beach. The principal work location upon opening will be the Richmond Beach clinic of PSKC. For fallback coverage, a secondary work location will be designated by patient and staffing requirements. Applicants must be available to work 10- to 13-hour shifts three to four days per week, Monday through Saturday. Closing duties conclude at 11:00 PM while opening shifts commence at 4:00 AM.

Salary:

The hourly wage range for this position is between $33.64 and $56.30. When determining salary proposals, numerous factors are taken into account, one of which is prior experience in a comparable or the same position.
