These recordings will be sent via email to the relevant professors for evaluation. Further, the individual will ensure that all tutoring sessions are documented in a precise and timely manner, engage in active communication with students, and maintain transparent lines of communication with supervisors and professors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 70% Primary Responsibilities
  • Offer LUO students Spanish tutoring services.
  • Facilitate web-based Spanish conversation instruction sessions.
  • Provide writing and grammar instruction in Spanish.
  • Deliver final oral assessments that have been recorded for the LUO Conversational Spanish courses via email to the professors.
  • Additional Duties (30 percent)
  • Manage appointment calendars and the scheduling system.
  • Maintain expeditious and precise records of every tutoring session.
  • Communicate actively with students when the appointment request form is missing information.
  • Maintain transparent and candid dialogue with professors, students, and supervisors.

Qualifications and Credentials:

Education and Experience

In addition to a high school diploma, candidates must possess fluent or near-native speaking and writing abilities in Spanish. A letter of recommendation from a Spanish professor at Liberty University is, however, permissible.
