Job Description:

  • Direct nursing care that attends to the physical and emotional requirements of residents is imperative.
  • Oversee NA-C to ensure that clinical treatment is aligned with the evolving needs of residents.
  • Verify the completion and accuracy of medication cards before dispensing medication.
  • Responsible for planning the admission and discharge of residents
  • To ensure infection control, it is imperative to adhere to the designated isolation methods.
  • Develop a care plan and, as required, revise it continuously.
  • Attend the health care conference for residents.
  • Maintain progress logs, generate summaries, and maintain resident care records.
  • Correctly observe, assess, and maintain documentation to ensure compliance and maintain records.
  • As required, attend meetings and carry out additional responsibilities as delegated by the Resident Care Manager.

Skills, knowledge, and abilities:

  • completion of a recognized nursing education program upon graduation.
  • possess a continuously renewable RN license from the Washington State Board of Nursing on the day of employment. Proficiency in IV/PICC is required.
